You can purchase a ticket for the bus service Eurosonic Noorderslag provides on Wednesday 11 January, to compensate for a possible public transport strike.
Buses will travel from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport tot Groningen (one way), only stopping at Groningen Station and De Oosterpoort venue. There’s a limited amount of tickets and ticket price is 25 Euro.
Buses will run from 12.00 (noon) until 18.00 o’clock. Please note that the tickets are grouped in timeslots: Check your estimated time of arrival in Schiphol Airport to buy the according ticket: We suggest you use a margin of 40 minutes. Tickets are non-refundable. If you miss your timeslot, you will be able to board the next available bus.
Please note: The buses departing later in the afternoon (in any case 15.30 and 16.00) will also stop at the EBBA venue.
Arriving at Schiphol
When you arrive at Schiphol Airport, please go to the meeting point in Schiphol’s central hall. The meeting point is a giant red-and-white cube. Our staff will meet you there and give you further instructions on where and how to catch the bus.
Do you need to take the bus?
The strike is not confirmed yet. Train delays might occur around Amsterdam and Utrecht, some trains might be cancelled. If you are not travelling to or over Schiphol, there are other options to get to Groningen:
